First Post
Well, I finally did it. It seems that lately everyone I know has a blog. I had never even heard of it. "Blog? I'm sorry, you said you have a WHAT?!?" Once I caught on to what everyone was talking about, I discovered what a wonderful thing it is to have a blog. It is a great place to journal your daily experiences and share with friends and family and complete strangers a peek into your own little world. I know I have enjoyed viewing others' sites; I have learned so much and have been both amused and humbled by what others have shared. I want to create a site where I can not only brag about my wonderful family but also where I can express my thoughts, ideas, and all of my frustrations as I go through my daily mom-in-training routine. Mom-in-training. That is what I originally wanted to call my blog. The name was already taken, but it just seemed to fit me so well. Each day is such a challenge for me as a mother of three. God somehow gets me through each day, even with all of my many mistakes - and I do make a lot of mistakes! I know that patience is a virtue that I sadly don't have! But I find that if I pray for it at the start of each day, I'm better equipped to handle life's daily challenges. I am far from perfect; I am made up of many faults. But God has given me a desire to love, cherish, and nurture my children. Raising them to be like Jesus is my biggest challenge. It requires me to live my life as much like Jesus as possible, and I am a sad example. I strive to be the perfect Christian, but as I said earlier, I am not perfect. I have a lot of learning to do and I only hope that God will continue to teach and encourage me each day as I go through what I consider my daily training sessions in motherhood!
