Somehow They Know

Somehow our little ones always know just what to say...

Amy has decided to go on a nursing strike today. At one point this afternoon after another failed attempt to nurse her, Nathan must have sensed my worry and frustration because out of the blue he said to me, "Amy loves you, Mommy."

Oh, good gracious! Not a nursing strike! Why didn't you call??????? You my expertise on this one. :))

I feel for you! Amy does love you - so very much indeed and she wants more than anything to have that comfort.

You've got enough on your own plate right now! Besides, she did finally nurse last night when I put her to bed. She was hesitant though. And she woke up many times during the night very upset and wouldn't nurse immediately. So we shall see what she does today. Maybe I can finally blame something on teething and be right?!?

I still have the nursing 25 month old. Can I order a nursing strike?? Nick has never done it, but Katie did and I just went with the flow for the few days and kept offering. She resumed just fine and eventually weaned at 19 months easily. Let's hope you see some pearly whites soon!!
