All three had a great time playing in the sand, doing their best to build a sandcastle. I had to help Amy build her own because all she wanted to do was build just enough so she could knock it back down. Alex was very opposed to this.
Sand - okay. Water - no way! Amy did not like to be in the water at all. She liked to be held while I stood in the water, but I better not even think about putting her down while she was anywhere near it!
Alex and Nathan loved the beach. I'm not sure when I last saw them have so much fun. I know once Amy gets used to it, she too will love the beach!

Want to hear something absolutely horrible? Philip hasn't even been to the beach yet! The summer after he was born, Colin was in summer school, and then Jonathan was just a few weeks old last summer, so we never made it.
Talk about not taking advantage of where you live! We plan on rectifying this terrible injustice in the coming months!
