Dodging the Bullet

I am so thankful that despite the original forecast for Tropical Storm Humberto to come barreling in right over top of us, it decided to make landfall a little east of us, just enough to put us on the good side of the storm. I was expecting pouring down rain all night and we were planning to make a pallet on our bedroom floor for children who we knew would want to sleep there. But alas, it is quiet outside and everyone is peacefully sleeping in their own beds. I think it's about time I, too, call it a night...
